David C. Holton, Jr.

David C. Holton Jr. of Lake Montezuma passed away at home on December 31, 2007. He was 72 years old. David was born September 21, 1935 in Englewood, New Jersey to David and Grace Holton. He attended Flagstaff High School and was in the Navy. He's a retired Sergeant from working 20 years for AZ DPS, a barber at Holton's House of Hair Design in Flagstaff; and was an accomplished bird and pipe wood carver. He loved fishing, RV-ing, telling stories "tall tales", loved people and loved life. He was the most amazing father, son, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents Grace and David Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia Harris Holton; son David Holton III of Lake Montezuma; daughters Wendy Holton of Hagerstown, MD and Tracy Holton-Garrett (Charles) of New Albany, MS; sister Barbara Purtymun (Ben); 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
