David C. Zarn

David Colin Zarn, 36, was reunited with his mother on Tuesday November 25, 2014 in Cottonwood, AZ. David was born to Dave and Brandi Zarn on May 13, 1978 in Phoenix, AZ. The family moved around quite a bit during David\u0027s early years, including Colorado and Wyoming, settling in San Diego, CA. David graduated from Mira Mesa Senior High School in 1997, where he was a proud and exceptional Mira Mesa Marauder wrestler, football, and baseball player.Bringing laughter to all who knew him, David was voted "Most Humorous" by his graduating class. After high school, striking out on his owh, David moved to Las Vegas before coming to reside in the Verde Valley to be closer to his family in 2008. David was an extraordinary automotive industry salesman, an avid sports fan, especially baseball, and a wonderful and adored father. He is preceded in passing by his mother, Brandalynn Mellor and grandfather Larry Nelson. He is survived by his best friend and son, Shawn Zarn, father David L. Zarn, grandparents Jean and George Zarn, grandmother Jean Nelson, aunt Karen Shumway(Bob Murray), uncles Tim Nelson and Ron(Beth) Nelson, great uncles Paul Nelson and Bob Nelson, and cousins Lisa Plante, John Johnson, Chris Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson. David\u0027s life was sadly cut short and he will be missed. At his family\u0027s request, services will be planned for a later date.
