Dawn D. Tharp

Dawn D. (Hoffert) Tharp, 73, of Cottonwood passed away April 6, 2012. She was born July 24, 1938 in Pekin, Illinois, the daughter of John and Carolyn (Ramshaw) Hoffert. She lived in Pekin, Illinois until she came to Arizona in in 1975. Dawn is preceded in death by her parents and sister Marlene Schwenk. She is surviced by six children, Terry Tackman of Virginia, Timothy Tackman (Joanna) of Phoenix, Scott Tackman (Angie) of Phoenix, Deborah Brashears (Jon) of Camp Verde, Tammy Hussey of Phoenix and Jody Smith of Phoenix; a sister Amelia Justus of Mesa; eleven grandchildren and nine grandchildren. She was loved by everyone who knew her. There will be a viewing at Westcott Funeral Home Wednesday April 11 at 9 AM for family. A publicgraveside service will follow at 10 AM.
