Delmer Dare Culley

January 12, 1914 — March 4, 2009

Delmer Dare Culley, 95, of Sedona, passed away on March 4, 2009. Born in Earlton, Kansas on January 12, 1914, the eldest son of William and Anna Culley. He survived by wife Joyce and numerous nieces and nephews. A Navy veteran of the Seabees, Dare served in the South Pacific in World War II. Prior to the war, Dare owned an orchard spraying business and later went into construction work. As a carpenter in Sedona, he was employed by E. R. Baldwin and James Scalf for many years as well as building several "spec" homes. Dare was active in the Church of Christ in West Sedona and was instrumental in the construction of the church building. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 11:00 AM at the All Soul\u0027s Cemetery, 700 N. Bill Gray Rd., Cottonwood
