Delores Jean Wombacher, 63, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2008. She was the daughter of Orval and Margaret Ohlwiler; born October 13, 1944 in Cottonwood. Delores was a graduate of Ajo High School and then attended the State Board of Cosmetology in Phoenix. Over the last 38 years Delores has owned three successful beauty salons and was currently the owner and operator of Hair \u0026 More in Cottonwood\u0027s Food City Plaza. Her favorite things to do were fishing in Rocky Point, Mexico, golfing, camping, going to the Cliff Castle Casino; and especially caring for her grandchildren. Delores is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth H. Mead; her sister, Linda Saline; and her mother, Margaret Ohlwiler. She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Bill Wombacher of Cottonwood; her son, Dane Wombacher (Kathy) of Cottonwood; her daughters, Debra Wombacher of Cottonwood, and Cam Wombacher (Amador Islas) also of Cottonwood; her sister Daphne Rohan of Cottonwood; 9 grandchildren, Jill Myers (John), Doug Wombacher (Corinne), Justen, Brandon Islas (Julie), Jennie, Jacob, Cortney, Trevor, and Dakota; 1 great-grandchild, Kaden Hunter; and many close nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at Franco\u0027s Italian Bistro, 301 W. Hwy 89A on Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 2:00-4:00pm for family and friends.
