Deloris E. Schmidt

Deloris Elaine Schmidt, 85 of Clarkdale, AZ, died Saturday, October 20, 2012. She was born in Barron, WI on July 25, 1927 to Raymond and Viola Hunt. She grew up on a farm near Barron and graduated from Barron High School. Deloris is survived by her husband of 28 years, Herbert J. Schmidt of Clarkdale and her two daughters, Diane DeMars DeBoer (Jack) of Cottonwood, AZ and Barbara DeMars Stanley (Robert) of Madison, WI. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Leah Gullicksrud Bresette (Dave), Stephanie DeBoer Ring (Stephen) and Nathan Gullicksrud; two great-grandchildren James and Audrey Bresette; sister-in-law Alene Hunt; nephew John Hunt; niece Sharon Mule; 3 step-daughters Karen, Vincette and Rachel; 9 step-grandchildren including Steven and Fred Gruenhagen and their father Philip Gruenhagen and many cousins. Deloris was preceded in death by her first husband, L. Ben DeMars; parents Raymond and Viola Hunt and brother R. Stanley Hunt. A memorial service is set for Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:00am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 180 Soldier Pass Road in Sedona.
