Dennis J. Weller

Dennis J. Weller, 63, of Cottonwood died August 18, 2010. He was born April 11, 1947 in Toledo, Ohiothe son of Erich and Sophie Weller. He was a graduate of Crestmoor High School in San Bruno, California. He served his country as a sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Weller was a retired United Airlines mechanic. He played Santa Claus for children in both California and Arizona with his wife Nadine as Mrs. Claus. He was a hospice caregiver for several years. An National Rifle Association member, he also worked as an election poll worker and enjoyed oldies music. Dennis will be sorely missed by all who knew him for his loyalty to friends and family, his caring attitude and love for animals. He was preceded by his wife Nadine Weller. Dennis leaves a step-daughter Dana Ruben of Cottonwood; brother Jesse Weller (Tanya) of Hercules, California; sister Esther Tournay (William) of Davis, California; step-grandson Aaron Medina and several nieces and nephews.
