Diane Ewald

Diane (Dede) Gray Martin Ewald age 99, a resident of Generations Senior Care in Clarkdale, AZ, formerly of Cottonwood, AZ, and Golden Valley, MN, died Monday, March 10. She was the daughter of Sylvia and Royce Martin.

Dede was preceded in death by her husband Graydon R. Ewald; sons Timothy R Ewald and Gregory M Ewald and daughter Carolynn McGahey. She is survived by sons Clint Ewald (Judy), Steve Ewald (Ann), and Randy Ewald (Teri); nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Dede was a graduate of University High School, following which she attended the University of Minnesota. While in Minnesota, Dede was active in Girl Scouts and the PTA. Dede’s community involvement in Cottonwood included being a member of ADK, working at Daniel Bright School and, especially, volunteering at the Cottonwood Library.
