Don Ray Smith

Don Ray Smith, 76, of Clarkdale entered eternal life on June 25, 2011. He was born June 19, 1935 in Walker Town, West Virginia, the son of Sherman Smith and Dorothy D. (McKinney) Smith. He attended Dysart School. His employment included Don\u0027s Newstand, A. J. Bayles Market, Goodwill and Rainbow Acres. Don enjoyed watching sports especially NASCAR, football and wrestling. He ebjoyed music and loved writing stories. Don was very patriotic and a great supportor of our troops. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra and his parents Sherman and Dorothy. Don is survived by a sister Joan Schmidt of Lake Montezuma and many cousins including Phil Harvey (who he considered a brother). A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church at 9 AM. The funeral service will folow at 10 AM.
