Don "Don Dino" Spate, 59, of Camp Verde died February 17. He was born in Fresno, California on February 9, 1949.He attended the DD. Johnson school and was a graduate of Norwalk High School. Don was the owner of Can Do Home Improvements and Don Dino Entertainments. He was a member of both the Moose and the Elks. He was proud of his ten years sobriety. He enjoyed singing karaoke, telling jokes and cutting hair. "My brother turned out to be a really great guy", is how his brother Randy will remember him. Don was a member of the Garden Community Church. His father, Peter Henry Spate, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Donna Spate; his sons, Duane Ingram of California and Matthew Wooldridge of Oklahoma; a daughter Maggie Wooldridge of Oklahoma; his mother, Eleanor Lukens (and her husband Lee) of Cottonwood; two brothers, Randy Spate of Cottonwood and Kirk Lukens (and his wife Jaime) of Hobbs, New Mexico; three sisters, Sharon Martinez of Roseburg, Oregon, Carolyn Sweets (and her husband Craig) of Whittier, California and Crystal Davis of Chandler.
