Donald A. Johnson

Donald Albert Johnson, 96 of Cottonwood, passed away on January 21, 2015. He was born on January 19, 1919 on the family farm near Lamar, Colorado. He was the son of John Gottschalk and Anna Anderson Johnson. In Las Vegas, Nevada on October 6, 1941 he was united in marriage to Faye Lorraine Davis. During World War II he served with the Air Force in the South Pacific Theater. Donald was preceded in death by son Gary Don Johnson. He is survived by wife Faye; son Dennis Lane Johnson (Logan) of Marysville, WA; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; three step-great-grandsons; sister Anna Lorene Earl of Farmersville, CA and three nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood.
