Donald Eugene Morey

Donald Eugene Morey, 77, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and animal lover, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2003. He was born in Joliet, Illinois on May 20, 1925. Don was a World War II veteran and received a Purple Heart. He was an active member in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. His numerous community involvements will be appreciated and cherished by those left behind. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Bernice Morey, his daughters: Donna Morey and Darlene Zajda ; two sons: Jerry Morey and Donald Morey as well as his sister: Winifred Hendron; son in law: Thomas Zajda ; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is now with his son Robert and brother Gordon Charles Morey looking down on us with love and pride. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th at VFW Post # 6739, 377 W.
