Donna (Baca) Martinez was called by our Lord on April 3, 2013 at age 64 after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born on March 31, 1949 to parents Secundino and Elvira Baca in McNary, AZ. Donna lived in St. Johns, AZ until the age of 9 then moved to Flagstaff where she attended school and graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1967. In January 1968 she married the love of her life Vincent (Guero) Martinez during the biggest snow storm in Flagstaff history. They both worked together at La Fonda for many years until they opened their own restaurant in 1985 in Cottonwood known as Guero\u0027s. After closing the restaurant in 2004 she worked at Wal-Mart in Cottonwood and Mold and Graphics in Clarkdale until her decline in health. She was a very inspirational woman who loved her family and friends very much and will be greatly missed. Donna leaves behind her husband and best friend of 45 years Vincent (Guero) Martinez; daughter Jennifer (Shane) Martinez; son Vincent (Marcy) Martinez; grandchildren Ashton, Kaynen and Darien Loring and Andromeda and Dominique Martinez; sisters Delores (Richard) Perea and Petra (Bobby) Martinez and all her loving in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and wonderful friends. Donna was preceded in death by her daughter Dominique and her parents Secundino and Elvira Baca.
