Dora M. Calhoun, resident of the Village of Oak Creek-Sedona, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the age of 95. She was the daughter of Evan and Frances (Koger) Lide; born June 9, 1912 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Following high school, Dora went on to receive her higher education and find her life\u0027s work as a teacher in metaphysics. She was also very dedicated to roles as homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Dora is preceded by her first and second husbands, Robert Lee Mooney and William Riley Calhoun; her only child, Marguerite Dora (Mooney) Gehl; her sister, Frances Lide; as well as her parents. She leaves behind her two adored grandsons, Matthew Gehl of Flagstaff, and Robert Gehl of Phoenix. Her son-in-law, Lee Gehl also survives her.
