Doris E. Evans

Doris Eugene Evans, 93 of Cottonwood, passed away on June 27, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Doris was born in Richmond, Indiana on December 17, 1930. Doris was preceded in death by her father Arthur L. Timberman and her mother Irene Timberman; her sons Clarence Henry Hill Jr. and Michael Alan Hill; and daughter Georgia Fay (Dean) Leversee.

Doris is survived by her daughters Thalia Maxine (Daniel) Soto and Lavonne Evans and her chihuahua Precious. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Doris enjoyed being around others and loved to see them happy and smiling. She has touched many lives that knew her. She will leave kindness, strength to all she knew.

Celebration of Life will be held at Journey Church, 750 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood, on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 11:30am – 4:00pm.
