Doris Dawn Guinn, 81, of Cottonwood died January 2. She was born May 6, 1928 in Topeka, Kansas. She worked in bookkeeping and accounting. She deeply touched the hearts of all who knew her. She always put others need above her own. She gave compassionate service to the community. Mrs. Guinn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a gifted quilter. An avid Diamondbacks and Suns fan, she also enjoyed traveling to see her children and grandchildren. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, daughter and sister. Her husband Harley Guinn preceded her in death. She leaves her sons Duanne Guinn (Diana) of Springville, Utah and Mike Guinn (Vicky) of Cottonwood; daughters Judith Guinn of Cornville and Dana Lichtman (Keith) of Northridge, California; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cottonwood on Saturday January 9 at 10 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
