Doris June Jenkins, 78, of Camp Verde died March 21, 2011. She was born June 21, 1932 in White Pigeon, Michigan, the daughter of Clyde Kundart and Maria Alberta Kundart. She was a graduate of schools in White Pigeon, Michigan and was a graduate of high school in Vicksburg, Michigan. Mrs. Jenkins worked at the Vicksburg Paper Mill, Camp Verde Water System, Camp Verde School District, Doctors office in Duncan and Winslow and as secretary at the Patagonia Community Church. When her husband bicycled across the Unites States, she served as the back up driver. She has won fair ribbons for baking. She has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Camp Verde and the Haven Methodist Church of Jerome. She enjoyed her family, reading, gardening and knitting. She leaves her husband of sixty years, Rev. John W. Jenkins; a son John David Jenkins (Candi) of Puyallup, Washington; daughters, Dianna Marie Cramer (Randall) of Happy Jack and Joanna Kay Carter (Richard) of Siloam Springs Arkansas; a sister Gayle Kundart of Michigan; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 26 at the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood at 10 AM.
