Dorothy Jean Helm

Dorothy Jean Mathews Helm, 84 of Rimrock, passed away September 28, 2012. She was born on February 18, 1928 in Farmington , Missouri . She attended school in New Mexico and spent time in Montana and California . In 1946 she moved to Fossil Creek , AZ where she met and married George Helm. They were happily married for 63 years until he died November 11, 2010. They had spent over 30 happy years at old Happy Jack Logging Camp. They had 4 children; Volly and Karen Helm of Rimrock; Joe Helm of Kingman , AZ ; Charlsa and Gus Phillips of Pine, AZ and Pat and Joe Leigh of Rimrock. Dorothy will always be remembered for her kindness and wonderful contagious laugh. She was a wonderful cook and her doughnuts are still remembered by her kids, friends and neighbors. She loved life and was a wonderful wife and mom. She had lots of adopted kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
