Dorothy Keener, resident of Camp Verde, Arizona passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the age of 93 in Cottonwood, Arizona. Dorothy knew and loved her Savior and looked forward to this day - the day she would meet him face to face. She was the daughter of John V. and Etta Myrtle (Fattig) Dillon; being born August 23, 1915 in Keokuk County, Iowa. Dorothy received her education as a beautician; following which she became the successful owner and operator of her own beauty salon. She loved to play games, and she enjoyed painting ceramics and pictures. Dorothy especially enjoyed celebrating her 93rd birthday with many of her family members. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, William John Keener; she leaves behind her daughters, Donna Scott Connor of Bermuda Dunes, California, and Karen Hall with her husband, Doug of Camp Verde, Arizona; two sisters, Mildred Dillon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Marjorie Siggins with her husband, Kenneth of Lisbon, Iowa. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Parkside Community Church in Camp Verde; where Funeral Services were held in her honor on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 10:00am.
