Dorothy Daniels Malonson

Dorothy Daniels Malonson, 88, resident of Sedona, Arizona, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006. Dorothy was born on July 1, 1918, in Somersville, Connecticut, where she grew up. She was the oldest of three children. After completing high school and some college, Dorothy went into the clerical field and moved on to become an Administrative Assistant in the Physics Department of UCLA until she retired. She is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Kibbe. Dorothy leaves three children, Ted Malonson and Maryann Ibbotson, both of Page, Arizona, and Dan Malonson with his wife Lori of Mammoth Lakes, California; her grandsons, Chad (Barbara) Malonson, Ryan (Krysta) Malonson; and her brother, Earl Daniels of Somers, Connecticut. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Pretty Girl, who was the sunshine of her life and is now cared for by her son in Page AZ. No local services are scheduled.
