Dorsey "Lee" Lukens, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the age of 76. He was born in Bartlett, Oregon on March 27, 1932 to Lloyd and Bernice (Harvey) Lukens. Lee was a graduate of NAPA High School; who then furthered his education as an electrician. He also served as a Seaman First Class during the Korean Conflict with the United States Navy. Lee worked at Griffith\u0027s Enterprises in Camp Verde, and prior to, worked for and retired from the Long Beach Naval Shipyard. He was a member of the Garden Community Church; who will always be remembered as a true example of a good man - a Godly man. He was loved by all who knew him. Lee is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Eleanor Lukens of Cottonwood; son, Kirk Lukens with his wife, Jamie of Hobbs, New Mexico; daughter, Crystal Davis of Chandler; step-son, Randy Spate of Cottonwood; step-daughters, Sharon Martinez of Roseburg, Oregon, and Carol Van Edde with her husband, Craig of Whittier, California; as well as, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
