Eugene Earl "Steve" Imus, 81, of Cottonwood died September 3, 2013. He was born and raised in Ventura, CA on January 15, 1932 to Earl and Flossie Imus. After finishing school, Steve joined the Navy, serving his country during the Korean War. He was stationed on the USS Constellation until 1953. After leaving the service he went on to work at a wide variety of occupations, including Rocketdyne in CA as employee and designer of several Rocketdyne patents in the late 1950\u0027s, the US Forest Service in OR, real estate sales in Big Bear, CA, real estate appraisals in AZ, and as a driver for Westcott Funeral Home. He graduated Los Angeles Trade Technical College AA degree in 1956. He was a designer for the Original Austin Healey Club logo. He married Marlene Price on September 3, 1954 and they were married for 25 years. He enjoyed restoring automobiles and following politics. Steve was predeceased by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy Imus of Cottonwood, his daughter, Bonnie Miller; his step-sons, Charles (Amber) Wadey of Austin, TX and Andrew (Julia) Wadey of Peoria, AZ; 2 grandsons, Lear and Hawk Miller, 2 step-grandsons, Zeland and Clark Wadey and a step-granddaughter, Aurora Wadey. A memorial will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Prescott National Cemetery, 500 Highway 89, North Prescott, AZ at 11:00 A.M.
