Edith Anne (Boston) Blase'

After a long, happy life, Edith Anne (Boston) Blas was taken to Heaven on November 28, 2007. She was born in Salina, Kansas on March 15, 1922 to Jessamine Stuart (Harris) Boston and Alonzo Douglas Boston. She lived in Salina until 1964. That year she and her husband Delbert Jacob Blas moved to Mesa, Arizona. In 1968 they moved to Jerome, Arizona and eventually Cottonwood, Arizona. Edith was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was an amazing artist, especially when painting ceramics. She is survived by her husband, Delbert Jacob Blas of Cottonwood; children, Edith Marie Tucker of Mesa, Raymond Wolsieffer of Phoenix, Douglas Wolsieffer of Dallas, Texas, Anne Conway of Sedona; and her sister, Mary Lou Wills of Salina. Edith had eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her bright eyes and warm smile. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Sedona, Arizona. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
