Edward Fredrick Miller, Jr., 80, resident of Lake Montezuma passed away at home, on Friday, August 17, 2007. He was born in Williams, Arizona on May 11, 1927 to Edward and Theresa (Madril) Miller. Edward was a Veteran of the United States Army, and a retired cement mason. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of the Verde Valley. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and helping others. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandpa and friend. Edward leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Caroline Miller of Lake Montezuma; his son Edward Fredrick Miller, III with his wife, Renee of Hilton Head, South Carolina; his daughter, Helene E. Schaffer with her husband, Robert of Prescott, Arizona; three brothers, Karl Miller with his wife, Carol of Wickenburg, Arizona, William Miller with his wife, Phyllis of Show Low, Arizona, and Oswald Miller with his wife, Gwen of Sun City West, Arizona. Also surviving him are three grandchildren. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 11:00am at the Faith Lutheran Church of the Verde Valley, 2021 East Fir Street, Cottonwood, Arizona 86326; where contributions are requested to be sent.
