Edward A. Pruss, Age 93 of Cornville, Arizona, Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 6, 1917, eldest son of Anthony and Mary Pruss. Ed served honorably in Europe as a B-17 tail gunner and married the love of his life, Theresa Antczak (deceased in 1988), when he returned from the war. Ed worked for Detroit Edison until his retirement at age 57 and spent his time gardening, traveling, fishing and reading. Survivng are his three children, Elaine (Tom) Anderson of Cornville, AZ, Joyce (Alfred) Schwieger of Columbus, Michigan, and Marcus (Kathy) Pruss of Chiloquin, Oregon, his brother Arthur (Barbra) Pruss of Florida, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Edward lived through the Great Depression and World War II and the lessons learned from these events shaped his life and the lives of the family... he will always be remembered as a man who could "roll with the punches."
