Eleanor \u0027Charline\u0027 Giacomelli, 84, resident of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006. She was born on July 27, 1921 to Charles Naples and Bernadine Monica Paul in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a child, she was raised by her Aunt and Uncle, Myrtle and Will Spears in Farmington, New Mexico, where she grew up and attended the Farmingtion School District. Professionally, she worked for A \u0026 H Bootery, in Durango, Colorado for 27 years, sellings shoes. Charline is preceded in death by her son, Michael Popovich; her uncle, Will Spears; her aunt, Mrytle Spears; her mother, Bernadine Feller; and her step-father, Curly Steele. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Louis Giacomelli of Cottonwood, AZ; her son, Jim Shock of Mendicino, California; her daughter, Monica Giacomelli-Oldham of Silver City, New Mexico; her two grandchildren, Yvette Cooke of Denver, Colorado and Justin Oldham of Silver City, New Mexico; and her four great-grandchildren, Dakota Oldham and Matthew Cooke, both of Denver, Colorado, as well as, Triston Oldham and Aaron Oldham both of Silver City, New Mexico. Charline was dearly loved and she will be deeply missed; and she will be remembered for her constant, contagious smile; her unpredictable sense of humor and her willingness to feed anyone who was hungry...for food, \u0027polenta\u0027...or for love.
