Elizabeth Ann Carrigan transitioned to a new life on January 16th, 2010. She came to this world on March 31st, 1943 to her loving parents Joseph and Veronica Martin in Southern California. Beth was raised in Southern California, fell in love and started a family. Created from her spirit of caring for others she formed and ran an exemplary nonprofit foundation in both California and Cottonwood, Arizona. The Light Heart Foundation united generations of both young and old while teaching important lessons of compassion, understanding, and the spirit of caring. For more than 25 years Beth¿½s work has touched tens of thousands of lives by bridging the gap between the generations. Beth will continue to be a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and an inspiration to those who knew her. She is survived by her children Brian Stuart, Sean Charles, Laurie Michelle, David Graham, her brother Joseph Martin Jr., her sister Kathleen Padden, and her husband Gene Martin Carrigan. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 4:30pm on Friday, February 5th, 2010 at Westcott Funeral Home located at 1013 E. Mingus Avenue, Cottonwood, Arizona 86326.
