Elizabeth L. Jones

Elizabeth L. "Sissy" Jones was born March 26, 1957 in Los Angeles, California. She passed away surrounded by her family on December 25, 2012. Elizabeth attended Clarkdale Elementary, Cottonwood Middle School and Mingus Union High School. She also completed two years at Yavapai College, planning to be a nurse, but life had other plans. She became an entrepreneur and owned two businesses. She was also multi-talented, very artistic and enjoyed arts and crafts and bingo. She was preceded in death by two sisters Jacquelyn and Sharon. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Carrie Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rebecca Brazil of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dawayna Jones of Cottonwood and Amanda Woida of Cortez, Colorado; her mother Jeanice Allen of Cottonwood; her father Charles Allen of Clarkdale; her twin brother David Allen of Phoenix; older brothers include Charles Allen of Falls Church, Virginia, Jerry Allen of Tucson, Arizona and Jesse Allen of Cottonwood, Arizona; two sisters Chris Speros of Phoenix, Arizona and Anne Werner of Cottonwood, Arizona; her good friend and life partner Don Cocoran of Cornville; and seven grandchildren.
