Elizabeth Saunders

Elizabeth Saunders, 74 of Cottonwood, passed away on February 5, 2015. She was born on January 13, 1941 in Ashland, WI to Eli Anderson and Martha Wuollet. Elizabeth attended Arizona State University from 1980-1985. She worked for Yavapai Community College. Elizabeth was a member and a council member of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. She was an artist and painted with bright colors. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Eli and Martha. She is survived by her husband Fred; sons Robert of Alaska and Steven of Parks, AZ; daughter Nancy (John) of Carson City, NV; brothers John (Dorothy) of MN, Peter of Hemet, CA and Mark (Judy) of Coleraine, MN; sister Mary of Westminster, CA; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00am at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 330 Scenic Dr. in Clarkdale.
