Ellen Dorene Cramer, 93, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lawrence Lynn, 5 brothers, James Barnett, Robert Henry, John Leslie, Larry Arthur and Ronald Martin Wainscott and 1 sister at the age of six years old Norma Aileen, all of Butler, Missouri. Dorene was born to Arthur Boone and Ruth Ann Wainscott at home in Butler, Missouri on April 23, 1924. She is survived by 1 brother, Ross Lee Wainscott and three sisters-in-law Rosellen, Rose and Erma Wainscott also all of Butler, MO. She is also survived by three sons and their wives Randy (Dianna), James (Sandra) and Roger (Vicki) Cramer all of Camp Verde, AZ along with 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Dorene was the oldest living member of Parkside Community Church. She was instrumental in starting that church, devoting her life to do the Lords work and helping lead others to accepting the Lord. Dorene volunteered for Bread of Life for over 25 years. She was involved in clothing drives for missions in Northern AZ and was secretary/treasurer for Camp Verde Clinic Association. Over 50 years ago Dorene drove to Phoenix to pick up and drive back to Camp Verde their first brand new ambulance. In the 70s she was very proud to earn her GED and continue her schooling to be employed by Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital as an LPN. Dorene also cooked in several restaurants and was famous for her Mexican food in her own restaurant called the Hideaway Restaurant. Dorene touched many lives as a church member, sister, mother, grandma and friend. She will be greatly missed and we will celebrate her life at Parkside Community Church on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:00am. Burial services will follow church services at Clear Creek Cemetery.
