Ernest James Houck

Ernest James Houck, 72 of Cottonwood , passed away on February 23, 2013. He was born on February 16, 1942 in Minatare , Nebraska to Archie Houck and Catherine Kickbush. Ernest attended Clairemont High in San Diego , CA. He served his country in the Air Force as an Airman during the Vietnam War. He was self-employed in Construction but was disabled during the last 3o years. He worked for 15 years at the Goodwill Store in Cottonwood . Ernest enjoyed reading, walking and making people laugh. "Life is just a giggle and go" is what he shared with everyone. His gentle soul never said an unkind word. Ernest is survived by brothers Lonny Houck of Hemet , CA and Bill Kickbush of Chesapeake , VA and sister Linda Smith (Richard) of Cottonwood .
