Esther S. Millman

Esther S. Millman, 92 of Cottonwood, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Payson. She was born on August 25, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Stephen and Sophie Ryzski. Esther attended St. Michaels High School. She worked as a bank bookkeeper at Citizens National Bank in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Esther was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII. Esther was of Catholic faith. She enjoyed swimming, bowling and going to the VFW in Cottonwood. Esther was preceded in death by husband Donald R. Millman and great-grandson Daniel L. Ging. She is survived by son Dean R. Millman of Cornville; daughter Donna R. Nun (Richard) of Payson; brother Harry J. Ryzski (Mary) of Lemont, IL; sister Annette Rolek of Calumet City, IL; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Services will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 12:00pm at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd in Phoenix.
