Evelyn W. Jensen, 93, of Sedona died October 18. She was born June 17, 1910 in Berkely, California. Mrs. Jensen lived all over the world as her late husband worked as a construction manager. They traveled and worked in Western Europe in England and Ireland, the Middle East in Bahrain, Kuwait and Iran, in the Far east, in the Phillipines, Australia and Nova Scotia, Canada. In the United States, they lived and traveled in California, Minnesota, Louisiana and New Jersey. They found Sedona when their son attended Northern Arizona University. Mr. Jensen always prided himself on building a house a house for his wife rather than buying an exsisting building. She was a member of the Verde Valley Weavers and Spinners Guild, the Garden Club and their \u0027\u0027Nature Nudgers\u0027\u0027, Sedona Sewing Club and the Sedona Historical Society. She leaves two sons, Eric N. Jensen of Sedona and Jan R. Jensen of Chester, California. Her husband, Neil C. Jensen preceded her in death. There are no public services. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sedona Community Thrift Shop, the Humane Society of Sedona, Keep Sedona Beautiful or the Northern Arizona Hospice.
