Everett M. vanAller, 96, resident of Cottonwood, AZ passed away Friday, December 9, 2005. He was born in Hull, MA on July 7, 1909 to Algernon and Flora vanAller. He attended Phoenix Union High School in his youth and as an adult he was employed by Mountain Bell as a telephone worker. Everett was a member of the Mt. View United Methodist Church for many years. He was one of the founders of the Mingus Gem and Mineral Club, and for his outstanding leadership with the Boy Scouts of America he was presented the Silver Beaver Award. Everett is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth vanAller and his parents. He leaves behind his sons, Fred vanAller, Richard vanAller, Garfield Henry vanAller all from Phoenix, AZ and Jonathon vanAller of Las Vegas, NV; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and his friend and companion, Alice J. Loomer. Memorial Services for Everett will be held Sunday, January 8, 2005 at 3:30pm at the Mt. View United Methodist Church in Cottonwood, AZ.
