F. Jules Reed, 77, of Cornville died January 6. Mr. Reed was born in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska September 17, 1926. He was a vteran of World War II and served in the Pacific and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was preceded in death by his wife Fran McGrew Reed. He was a retired school teacher and taught goldsmithing and silversmithing for many years with the Minneapolis School System in and around Minneapolis. He was also an excellent and known woodworker in the Verde Valley. He was active in promoting vacation opportunities for the handicapped and a supporter of the Young Eagles Flying Club. Mr. Reed was a 32 degree mason. He is survived by a son, Kevin and his wife Jo Reed of Florida; and sister Adrian Rice of Colorado. A memorial service will be held in Minneapolis.
