Faye Aldean Watt, of Clarkdale passed away Friday, September 2, 2011. She was born March 13, 1919 in Coulterville, Illinois. Faye is survived by her son Bill and wife Rene and grandchildren Steven and his wife Debi, Codi, and her husband Kurt Sullivan and great-grandchildren Allison and Aaron. Faye and her husband John owned the Conner building and the Spirit Room in Jerome from 1962 to 1985. The hotel was in disrepair when they acquired the building and Faye and John started restorations pf the hotel and opened the first five rooms for business. Faye and her husband John were a large part of the 70\u0027s in Jerome. She told lots of funny stories about the characters and history of Jerome. Faye and John lived in Navajo, Arizona during the 1950\u0027s where they operated the restaurant, hotel and filing station, which was all that Navajo was.Faye and John were married January 22, 1938 in Utah.
