Flora M. Kinsey, 92, of Clarkdale died on Monday, October 18th. Mrs Kinsey was born in Clarkdale, Arizona on March 12, 1912. She was a member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation She attended school in Clarkdale and at the Fort Mohave Boarding School. Mrs. Kinsey worked for a maid service during the 1960\u0027s and when she retired, she was employed as a custodian for the Yavapai-Apache Nation. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. She enjoyed beading, and she loved music. Mrs. Kinsey also enjoyed picking pinons and acorns in Yarnell. The acorns would be ground up, and used in various recipes. Mrs. Kinsey is survived by five sons: Sanford Kwail, Dave Kinsey Sr., Wendell Kinsey, Darrell Kinsey, and Jon Kinsey; two daughters: Sharon Loring and Garnett Kinsey all of Clarkdale; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22nd at 10:00 A.M. at the Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Avenue Cottonwood, Arizona. Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
