Florence Louise Conrad

Florence Louise Conrad, 83, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007. She was born on January 25, 1924 in Bloomington, Illinois. She was the only child of Oscar and Rhea (Weinzierl) Marshall. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1937, where she graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1942. Florence worked as a civil service purchasing agent for Luke Air Force Base, dedicating 30 years to this profession prior to taking her retirement in 1979. She is preceded in death by her husband, George A. Conrad. She leaves behind her son, David E. Quesinberry with his wife, Mary Lew of Temple, Texas; her daughter, Phyllis Dohms with her husband Carl of Cottonwood, Arizona; three granddaughters, Lori Pankhurst with her husband, David and children, Eric, Rhiannon, and Laila all of Sydney, Australia, Rachel Campbell with her son, Ian of Long Beach, California, and Ruth Tinner with her son, Phillip of McCamey, Texas; seven step-children, Cynthia Conrad of Phoenix, Arizona, Gregory Conrad with his wife, Melinda of Snowflake, Arizona, Sherry Hazen with her husband, John of Phoenix, Arizona, Beverly Peterson of Phoenix, Arizona, Gary Conrad of Chino Valley, Arizona, Guy Conrad with his wife, Tami of Littleton, Colorado, and Jalann Marshall with her husband, Kevin of Phoenix, Arizona. Florence is also survived by seven step-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 11:00am.
