Florence Elizabeth Cummings, 95, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007. She was born on February 7, 1911 to Clarence Kenny and Elizabeth (Lloyd) Hogg in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where she remained until the age of 12, at which time she moved with her family to the United States. Florence was fortunate to live such a good and long life, living longer than any of her siblings. Previously of California, she has enjoyed the Verde Valley for the past 10 years. She was very active in her church; faithfully serving the community and attending many groups. She especially enjoyed the Bible Study Group. She also made many crafts with other members of the church that were used to raise funds for various projects. Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Cummings. She leaves behind her only child, Nancy E. Collins of Cottonwood, Arizona; her granddaughter, Victoria McWorthy also of Cottonwood, Arizona; her grandson, David Collins with his wife, Lesitte of Cyprus, California; her great-grandchildren, Joshua, Crystal, Tim, and Ashley; as well as, her great-great-grandchildren, Ellyann and Reno.
