Floyd James Fulks, "Corky", 75, resident of Camp Verde, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007. He was born March 1, 1923 in Salina, Oklahoma to Colman Alexander and Pauline Stewart (Chapman) Fulks. Floyd was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was owner and operator of Corky's Air Conditioning Company. He was also very active in the Camp Verde Days Parade for many years. Corky enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and cooking. He also took a lot of pride in raising miniature horses. He was a loving husband, a dedicated father to his four children, and adored by his grand and great-grandchildren. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Jeanne of Camp Verde; his sons, Charles with his wife, Patricia of Glendale, Samuel and his wife, Sharon also of Glendale, Nathan and his wife, Pamela of Phoenix; his daughter, Selena and her husband, Paul of Clarkdale; his brother, Sherl with his wife, Anita of Kingman; his sisters, Edith of Murietta, California, and Sue of Camp Verde; as well as 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
