Floyd B. Kracht

Floyd B. Kracht, 91, of Cottonwood died May 15. He was born October 29, 1912 in Fairfield, Iowa. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School and worked as a machinist at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois. He went on to work for Lockheed Aircraft Services in Onatrio, California. He was a member of the International Asociation of Machinists. He was a member of the Verde Baptist Church and has served as Deacon and Elder in churches he had previously been a member of. Mr.Kracht enjoyed reading, jewelry making, ceramics and carpentry. He leaves his wife of 68 years, Musetta L. Kracht; a son, John F. Kracht of Rimrock; a daughter Jane F. Hurst of Clarkdale; one niece and two great-nieces and one grandnephew and a great-grandniece. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19 in the Verde Baptist Church from 10-11 AM. The funeral service will follow at 11AM. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery.
