Frances M. Murray, 93, of Cottonwood died August 5. She was born March 8, 1914 in Hillsboro, Texas, the daughter of Charles A. and Elizabeth (Finch) Mayfield. A graduate of Waco High School, she served with US Army Signal Corps. She later worked for Cocoa-Cola Bottling Company. She attended Mountain View United Methodist Church and enjoyed card games (especially bridge), needlwork, reading and bible study. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly called her \u0027Bam\u0027. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mabry Pruitt and Paul C. Murray. Mrs. Murray is survived by a daughter Linda Robins (and her husband Ted) of Clarkdale; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. No public services are planned.
