Francine Levengood
February 27, 1945 – December 2, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francine Levengood on December 2nd, 2023. Born in Flushing, New York on February 27, 1945, Fran moved to Sedona with her husband Bill in January 2008. She was president of the local League of Women Voters, President of the Village of Oak Creek Homeowners Association Activities Committee, a proud member of Sedona Welcomers, and when that organization closed its doors, Fran organized a monthly luncheon for those who had been on the Southwest Culture committee. She served as a docent at the Sedona Heritage Museum and as the coordinator for the museum’s “Living History” program. All this from a very gentle woman with a great sense of humor. There was never a person the met Fran that didn’t immediately fall in love with her. She is survived by her husband Bill. Services will be held at the Westcott Funeral home in Cottonwood on Monday December 18th between 4-6 PM. In lieu of flowers please send all donations to the Sedona Heritage Museum.
