Longtime Cottonwood resident Frank Donald Higginbotham died January 26. He was 83 years old. Mr. Higginbotham was born September 30, 1920 in Mesa, Arizona. An Army Air Corp veteran, he served during World War II. He later served as a Captain in the Phoenix Fire Department. Mr. Higginbotham is survivied by his wife, Mary Louise Higginbotham; his daughter, Carol Louise Higginbotham Campbell; his sons, Edward Donald Higginbotham and wife Charlene, Elbert Donald Higginbotham and his wife Becky, and Robert Edwin Higginbotham and his wife Melissa; his sister, Ruth Dammann; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Higginbotham will take place Friday, January 30 in the Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Cottonwood at 2 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S.
