Frank Carter Hughes, 71, of Lake Montezuma, Arizona died on Tuesday, June 2nd. He was born April 11, 1933 in Sturgis, South Dakota. Mr. Hughes was a retired mechanic and truck driver. Earlier, he had also worked as a miner in Matline Falls, Washington. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Mr. Hughes is survived by a son Phillip Hughes of New York; two daughters: Phyllis Anderson of Camp Verde; Cindy Randle of Kansas; a brother Roy of Kansas; sisters: Ruby, Angie, Alma, and Fern all of South Dakota; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Memorial services were held on Friday, June 4th at the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood.
