Frank Peter Krznarich, 73, of Clarkdale, passed away at his home on January 24 after a brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Krznarich; his son, Daniel Nicholas Krznarich (married to Cathy Krznarich) of Glendale; his daughter, Catherine Ann Pivonka (maried to Joe Pivonka) of Sycamore, Illinois. He was blessed with four wonderful grandchildren: Christopher, Brittany, Sara and Danielle. He is also survived by his brother Paul Krznarich, and a sister, Helen Krznarich. His brother, John Krznarich prceded him in deah. Frank was born in the mountainside mining town of Jerome, Arizona on October 16, 1931. He went all through school there and graduated from Jerome High School in 1950. He then worked at various jobs until he entered the Navy in 1951. Following his military service, Frank attended Arizona State University where he majored in education. Upon graduation he worked with a fellow Jeromite selling insurance. He later went to work as an executive for Aetna until his retirement in 1992. In 1956 he married Bonny Lu Redstrom, enjoying 37 years of marriage until her death in 1993. In 1995 he rekindled a relationship with Margaret Lavers, a schoolmate from Jerome, and they were married in Prescott. In 1996, they made their home in Clarkdale. Frank was very active in Catholic churches in the Phoenix area and was instrumental in organizing various church building fund groups. He served as head usher at Saints Simon and Jude Church in Phoenix. He was a lifetime member of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks and as a member of the Toastmasters Club. He enjoyed coaching his children\u0027s sports teams and was an avid A.S.U. Sund Devils fan. Frank was a huminatrian; he loved people. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend, and he will be missed by all. A Rosary was held on Friday, January 28 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 4 PM.
