Gail Diane Boatman

Gail Diane Boatman, 56, of Cornville died December 21. She was born September 17, 1953 in Coronado, California. She attended Cottonwood elementary schools and was a 1971 graduate of Mingus Union High School. She worked as a waitress, in retail work and at Verde Floral. She enjoyed reading, handcrafts and gardening. Gail leaves two sons, Gary Boatman (Felicia) of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Brian Boatman of Mesa; her daughter Cherisse Davidson of Tracy, California; her father and stepmother Sam and Shirley Erwin and her mother, Isobel Merchen; brothers John Erwin (Susan) of Ft. Worth, Texas and Mark Erwin (Vanessa) of Bremerton, Washington; two grandchildren Charli and Luke; and longtime friend Darlene Calvert. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 3 PM. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception room.
