Gary Hoyt, 67, of Cottonwood died January 29, 2012. He was born August 18, 1944 in Long Beach, California, the son of Edwin Platt Hoyt and Gloria Alice Rader. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Gary worked as a bricklayer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Carol Anne Sessions and his brother Michael. He is survived by his stepchildren, Chris Scanlan (Shelly) of Kingman, Cindy Wakefield and Geri Rocha, both of Cottonwood; sister Patty May of Santee, California; mother in law Frances Sessions of Conway, Arkansas; brother in law Jerry Sessions (Brenda) of Conway, Arkansas; three nieces Lori, Kim and Sandy; eight step grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. There are no public services planned. Donations in his memory may made to Hospice of the Pines, 13175 E. State Route 169, Suite B, Dewey, AZ 86327.
