George Allan Witte

G. Allan Witte "Al", 83, passed away at home on March 11, 2014. He was born May 6, 1930 in L.A. Calif. He joined the Navy during the Korean War and later became a resident of Apple Valley Calif. He was a planning engineer for Contel Telephone Company retiring in 1992, served as Commander on San Bernardino County Sheriff's department reserves, frequently donated blood to American Blood Bank (currently at 21 gallons). He moved to Sedona, AZ in 1993 serve with his wife at the Rainbow Ray Focus Church. He was a volunteer at Sedona Police Dept. where he enjoyed his time serving the community. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rev. Rosemarie; 6 children, Gary Witte (Michelle); Ron Witte (Bea); Russ Witte (Joan); Greg Meidlinger; Lisa Bryant (Wade); Jeff Meidlinger (Marguerite); 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Private services were held for family. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for Rainbow Ray Focus Church , 225 Airport Rd. Sedona , AZ 86336 .
