Georgia Pauline Sprueill, 86, of Camp Verde passed to eternal life on Monday December 17, 2012. She was born February 25, 1926 to the late Carl Schade Jones and Edith Blanche Shelton. Georgia lived a long and fulfilled life as a loving wife, mother and sister. Her creativity and talents were boundless throughout her life. Late in life she turned into a talented artist. Always keenly aware of the natural beauty around her and the Native Cultures of the Southwest, her artistry focused on Native Americans, Landscapes, flowers and included Seascapes. Her paintings were featured in several Sedona Galleries, adorn her home and those of her family and friends. To her family and friends Georgia exemplified a strong spirit and determination. She listened with welcoming attention, and lightened the hearts of all who knew her. Georgia will be missed by all who knew her. All the days of our lives, we will carry in our hearts her infectious laughter, wit and beautiful smile. Until we are reunited dear Mother. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband James E. Sprueill, her two sons Carl A. G. Deas and Rodney J Eggleston. She is survived by her daughter Elaine K Sprueill of Camp Verde, her "Sissy" Geraldine Askew (Wayne) of Mountain View, OK. , grand children, great grand children, nieces, nephews and dear friends Joan M Zakrocki of Camp Verde, Virginia and Ramon Parra of Cordes Lakes and their families.
